Security, privacy, and responsible use
MyHealthHub is designed to help you organize personal health information with clarity, control, and responsibility.
MyHealthHub is a personal health information organizer. It does not replace professional medical care or an official medical record.
What information you can organize
In MyHealthHub you can voluntarily bring together data you choose to enter or upload. That may include, among other things:
- studies and results;
- medication;
- diagnoses;
- medical history;
- appointments;
- professionals and institutions;
- attachments (for example, files or images you upload);
- a personal clinical summary based on the information you store.
The application does not interpret that data for you: it gives you an orderly place to review or share it when you decide it is appropriate.
You control your information
The app is meant for you to keep your own information organized and to consult it when you need it. You decide what to enter, how you label it, and—when features and your plan allow—with whom to share it or what to export.
If you use additional profiles or invite other people, review the permissions and roles available in the application so access matches what you really intend to allow.
Responsible use of health data
Health information can be sensitive. Before saving personal data or third-party data (for example, relatives you support), we suggest that you:
- consider how necessary each piece of data is for your organization goals;
- avoid sharing more detail than each situation requires;
- protect access to your device and account (password, sign-out on shared devices);
- update or correct information when it changes so what you read stays reliable.
If you are unsure what to record or share in a specific case, the final decision should rest with medical or legal judgment when applicable.
Medical limits of the application
MyHealthHub does not replace a health professional or care facility. Specifically:
- it does not diagnose;
- it does not prescribe treatments;
- it does not replace medical visits;
- it does not replace the official medical record kept by hospitals, clinics, or professionals.
For severe symptoms or emergencies, use the appropriate health services or follow your medical team’s instructions.
Export and backup
Depending on the plan active in the application, features may be available to export a clinical summary or generate backups of the information you stored. Those options depend on what is implemented in each product version and on plan limits.
Exports or copies you obtain complement your personal organization; they do not replace official records maintained by a health institution.
